I consider myself a barbecue snob which is easy in Memphis because we have so many wonderful different barbecue venues. I never thought of Silkys as a place for barbecue but last Sunday we had a meal after service and we were catered barbecue from Silkys. I thought that it was just as good as any other great barbecue in Memphis! Man that flavor was spot on and very little fat. Great job can't wait to try some more!

The BEST patio and live music on Beale during our visit! Paid a cover but had the choice to sit outside on patio for New Era Band ( highly recommend catching them when you can ) or step inside for dueling pianos ( always a great time )! We often went between the two spaces, depending on who and the “best song” at the time.The prices are fair and the service is awesome. We enjoyed our back to back nights at Silky's!

First visit to Memphis and they have life changing sauce, sitting right there on the table! Their vinegar spice sauce has the best flavor - not too spicy, not too sour, just perfection! The new owner, I think her name is Anna, was kind enough to share her secret recipe with me! Can't describe how wonderful it is, and how kind she is! Service was perfect, the Pink Cadillac was not overly sweet. We had the chicken strips, gumbo, and bbq shrimp. Everything was cooked really well and the gumbo has an amazing flavor! I didn't try the shrimp because my husband was too stingy to share, but I think the fact that he finished it in about 3 minutes says everything. I really liked this place, and I think you will too!
